The conference will take place at the Schloß Schönbrunn Meeting & Events in the Apothekertrakt of the famous Schloß Schönbrunn within the Vienna city limits. The recommended conference hotel (Hotel Park Royal Palace Vienna), where the invited speakers will stay, is in close proximity of the conference site (across a park). There are plenty of alternative hotels available at an easy distance for those seeking their own accommodation. The conference site and the hotel are easy to reach by public transport. They are situated on the subway line U4. The meeting venue is located at the subway station "Schönbrunn". The hotel can be reached from both this station and from the next station "Hietzing". If you arrive by air and choose not to take a taxi (~30 € depending on reservation), a local train (S7) or CAT (train) shuttle can take you to the station Wien Mitte / Landstraße, from which you can change directly to subway line U4. The public transport in Vienna is safe and efficient. Taxis are available in the arrival hall of the airport, but you get the best price (and a personal pick-up) if you book one of the airport taxi companies in advance.
